Hypertension or high blood pressure (HBP), which means high pressure (tension) in the arteries. Arteries the blood vessels of the heart to pump all the tissues and organs. High blood pressure does not mean excessive emotional tension, although the touch of tension and stress can temporarily increase blood pressure. Normal blood pressure is higher than 120/80, 120/80 and 139/89 between blood pressure is called “pre-hypertension”, and a blood pressure of 140/90 or higher self. Hypertension places patients at high risk of damage to the target organ counting, retina, brains, heart, kidneys, etc.
Hypertension Symptoms: High blood pressure often leads to no symptoms.
Although high blood pressure cause symptoms, the symptoms are usually mild and nonspecific (vague, meaning, or of many different disorders).
So, hypertension is often referred to as “the silent killer.”
People with high blood pressure often do not know their blood pressure measured.
People with normal blood pressure can have a tendency when they get older to make additional or higher sustained increase in blood pressure. They have a moderately increased risk of developing a heart-related (heart) disease.
Major causes of hypertension
The cause of essential hypertension is multifactorial, that is, there are several factors that the combined effects produce hypertension. With secondary hypertension, accounting for 5% of hypertension, high blood pressure is secondary to (caused by) a specific abnormality in one of the organs or body systems.
These include:
* Smoking
* Obesity and overweight
* Diabetes
* Always sit lifestyle
* Lack of physical activity
* The high level of salt intake (sodium sensitivity)
* Lack of calcium, potassium, magnesium and spending

A * A high level of alcohol use

Let’s get on Hypertension treatment:
The main goal of treating hypertension is blood pressure below 140/90 – or even less in some groups such as diabetics and people with chronic kidney disease. Treatment of hypertension is important for reducing the risk of stroke, heart attack and heart failure.
High blood pressure can be medically treated by a shift in lifestyle factors, or combination of both. Major changes in lifestyle are losing weight, quitting smoking, eating a healthy diet, reducing sodium intake, regular exercise and limiting alcohol.
Effects of yoga on blood pressure:
1. Regular practice of yoga reduces blood pressure amounting to 10-15 mm HG (observed facts, good evidence exists to support this comment)
2. Yoga can reduce the loss of weight, which, in turn, lowers blood.
3. Regular Yoga performer is more likely to suffer from hypertension than their age and sex matched counterparts. This result has been studied and validated in our center.
4. dip the night ‘in blood pressure as a phenomenon in normal people may be deficient in some hypertensive regular returns, as observed in our center.
5. A casual and Omkar Shavasana sing each can reduce BP by about 10-15 mm hg even an untrained person may not practice yoga regularly.
